It is with much appreciation to Natasha Chamberlain for allowing me to have the pleasure to own such a magnificent dog.   Our future is exciting!  I believe Gordy will take well to whatever discipline introduced to him.  He has natural ability and intelligence that make anything we undertake simple.  I am truly looking forward to this time with Gordy.

Gordy comes to Golden Ridge Farm from Canada where he stood at Shaynedoro Kennels.  He was born in Europe and is a descendant of many top show dogs in France.  His pedigree and clearances can be viewed here http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=100136. 

Gordy is a very kind, friendly and confident dog.  He is intelligent and has a natural working ability with a great desire to please.  He is very handsome with a large, well chiseled, broad head.  He has jet black pigment with dark, brown eyes.  His coat is slightly wavy with good feathering.  He has nice straight forelegs with good bone and shoulders that are well laid back.    He is a very balanced dog with great athletic ability.  He is 23 1/2 inches at the shoulder and weighs just over 80 pounds.  We have great hopes for him in the show ring and as a producer of great puppies.

Jake Has Passed His Health Clearances!!!!

Jake is an offspring of Gordy's full sister Yana and Majik Mr. Darcy.  You can view his pedigree at http://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=309001. 

Jake's sire, Mr. Majik Darcy, was imported from Finland.  He can  be seen at http://www.blackpoolkennels.com/dusty.html. 

Dusty, as you can see, is a perfect example of the English Type Golden Retriever.  Jake is almost 2-years-old, so we are awaiting his clearances.  You can see photos of him in the stud dog photo album page.

Bug

Bug is Gordy's first offspring kept for breeding here at Golden Ridge Farm.  He is a combination of some great English bloodlines.  Gordy, as mentioned, comes from tried and true bloodlines throughout the world and Bug's mother is a descendant of Can CH. Kyon Hot Bugsy, who was just named an Outstanding Sire by Golden Retriever Canadian Club.   You can see him at http://www.kyonkennels.com/Retrievers/Goldens.htm.                  

He is a true cream with a big blocky head  and nice angles, both front and rear. 

Bug is still less than a year old, but he is enjoying his training with Josh Peters who plans to involve him in tracking and field work.
